Our family has run Morehouse Farms since 1958. On our farm, we have raised a variety of livestock and began butchering that livestock ourselves. Through different points, experiments, and trial and error, we pride ourselves in providing not only quality meat, but the cuts that bring the best taste out of that quality meat.

Ordering Your Custom Butcher Service

To schedule your service, just give us a call! We cut to order, which means you call the cut. We’ll go through all the details with you and help you select the types of cuts you want out of your animal. It ensures you are going to be happy with your final product. We butcher beef, hogs, and bison. It takes about two weeks typically to process your animal. When your animal has been processed and is ready to pick up, we’ll give you a call or text to let you know it’s done.

Tenderstretching

The tenderstretching method is where you hang the carcass from the aiche bone instead of the Achilles tendon and has been proven to increase the tenderness in certain cuts of meat. We are one of very few facilities in the United States that uses this technique.

Our facility was built especially for this with a custom-designed rail system that allows us to hang the carcass for this specific method. The type of stretching allows us to provide the most tender cuts.

USDA Inspected

We are proud to say our facility is USDA-inspected. We have an inspector at our facility daily during the week, inspecting the whole animal and process from start to finish. Your animal will be USDA-inspected.
